Tara Clark is the Director of District Fiscal Services for the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE). She previously served as Chief Business Official for Pollock Pines Elementary School District and Silver Fork Elementary School Districts. Prior to that, Ms. Clark served as Manager of Business Services for the El Dorado County Office of Education, supporting AB1200 fiscal oversight and technical assistance to multiple districts and charter schools, and providing direct fiscal services to small districts. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles in private-sector accounting and financial management.

As a small district CBO, Ms. Clark oversaw bond elections, debt sales, and facilities modernization projects, while ensuring fiscal stability and compliance. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Colorado State University and is a graduate of the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT) CBO Mentor Program. She is also a California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO) Certified Chief Business Official. Ms. Clark previously served as Treasurer for ACSA Region 2 and currently serves on the CASBO Legislative Committee.
